Description
Statement of Work Work to be carried out at Arizona State University relates to development of novel instrumentation that will integrate both Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) and Electroencephalography (EEG) devices. This work will involve 1. Development and implementation of hardware (breakout box) that will be used to connect EIT and EEG devices for contemporaneous data acquisition. 2. Development of software that can interleave EIT and EEG recordings via the same electrode set. 3. Testing of EIT systems in-vitro, using phantoms in the laboratory setting, and 4. Testing of EIT/EEG systems in-vivo, using a previously developed piglet model. Dr Rosalind Sadleir will be responsible for overall project, employed personnel, algorithm development, frontend design, approvals and data analysis at ASU. Dr Sadleir will supervise a Graduate Assistant who will perform laboratory and animal procedures. Graduate Assistant (TBA) will, under Dr Sadleirs guidance, implement hardware and software development, and test systems in the laboratory and in-vivo settings.
