Identification of Material Damage Precursors Using Novel Nondestructive Evaluation andor Structural Health Monitoring Hardware

Project: Research project

Grant Details

Description

The objective of this Army SBIR program is to develop physical failure modeling for damage prognosis and multiscale analysis of fatigued aluminum coupons to determine the precursors that lead to structure damage and remaining service life. During the proposed 10 month effort, ASU will work with Luna to combine our strengths in the area of damage prognosis and multiscale analysis for ultrasonic and eddy current nondestructive evaluations and structural health monitoring.
