Grant Details
Description
The PI and a graduate student will work on the development of numerical methods for limited-angle tomography reconstruction. The focus of this work will be on the design of new priors based on geometric symmetry of the objects to be reconstructed, and the analysis of the accuracy in terms of the amount of data available for the reconstruction. Numerical tests will be done in synthetic and real data provided by the contractor. PI and the graduate student will meet (probably virtually) at least once a week with the contractor for reporting and feedback.
