Abstract
The introduction of the scalar and vector potentials allows to rewrite Maxwell's equations with a different formalism. Upon discretization, we exploit the advantages of the condensed node representation of the fields, resulting in lower grid dispersion, memory and computational time saving. Numerical examples are presented to validate the technique in two and three dimensions.
