Abstract

Correction to: Nature Microbiology. Published online 20 April 2023. In the version of the article originally published, in the fourth paragraph of the Discussion, in the sentence reading “This unexpected observation finds support in a parallel study, which showed that BFD1 and BFD2 (here, referred to as ROCY1) knockouts are capable of reinitiating acute infection as late as 5 months post inoculation, following immunosuppression” a reference was miscited. The sentence now cites Sokol-Borrelli, S. et al. (bioRxiv (2022)) in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
