Abstract
We report on conceptual research efforts, directed at the question - `What does the implementation and practice of SPC entail?' In response, we propose and define a new construct, SPC Implementation/Practice to represent organizational efforts at implementing and practicing SPC. We also employ an expert panel and apply the affinity diagram to identify and define a set of 14 requisite policies and/or actions indicative of the implementation and practice of SPC within organizations.
