Abstract
We have developed a cross-polarized microscope (CPM) that could visualize pigmented cells in human skin in vivo. The CPM device allowed for visualization of pigmented cells over a relatively large skin area (2.6 mm2), which could facilitate the spatial registration between CPM and standard dermatoscopy.
