N1 - Funding Information: A stable dual-wavelength operation above 2 μm based on cascaded SMS fiber structures has been proposed and demonstrated for the first time. In the experiment, dual-wavelength fiber laser lasing at 2002.8 and 2016.1 nm has been achieved with the signal to noise ratio up to 55 dB. Stable operation has been proved with the power fluctuation of 0.15 and 0.21 dB within half an hour for the two wavelengths.
