Abstract
The first demonstration of a 200-mW stable single-frequency narrow-linewidth distributed Bragg reflector erbium-doped fiber lasers (DBR EDFL) was reported. In particular, the fiber laser was constructed by fusion splicing two FBGs with a 2-cm erbium doped fiber. With this unique laser, it was believed that many applications in both old and new territories can be explored.
