Abstract

It has been shown that epsilon negative (ENG) metamaterials can be used to achieve a variety of resonant, electrically small radiating and scattering systems. We are currently studying a number of highly subwavelength unit cells that could potentially be used to achieve the requisite ENG parameters for those applications. Both RF circuit-based and lumped element implementations have been considered. Typical results will be presented.
