Integral imaging light field display using a geometrical lightguide

Abstract

In this paper, an integral-imaging-based light field display is implemented in a geometrical-lightguide-based augmented reality system to create 3D environment with correct focus cues. Polymer-dispersed liquid-crystal films are utilized to help increase the out-coupling viewing density.
