Abstract

Transnational feminist solidarities against empire map the interplay between exclusions, differences, and locations to identify relationalities and pathways that can materialize freedom not just for one group of women, but for everyone. To take up transnational feminism is to take seriously the operations of difference. Thus, in this essay, we argue that collage provides a methodological means for meditating on, honoring, and developing our coalitional strategies that begin from, and that are anchored in, our differences. In doing so, collaging emerges as a work in collaborative progress and as a mapmaking tool against empire.
