Abstract

This article in Comprehensive Heterocyclic Chemistry IV, Section 1 covers recent advancements made in both the reactivity and epoxidation strategies of oxiranes (epoxides) and oxirenes over the last decade (2008–2018). Content and theme are consistent with previous editions. However, emphasis in this edition was placed on contemporary topics and trends such as heterogeneous catalysis and peptidomimetic catalysts.
