Abstract
Rangeland managers are now becoming well aware of the potential of rangelands for carbon storage in the effort to reduce the atmospheric greenhouse effect. There will be new economic opportunities, by means of the sale of carbon credits, where carbon-storage projects could provide cash flows to help rangeland managers. As such, a study has been conducted to look at the economic potentials for semiarid rangeland participation in carbon offset markets. A special look has been conducted on a recent carbon sequestration on Arizona rangelands.
