Abstract
This paper presents an overview and current status of the U. S. Air Force Integrated Computer Aided Manufacturing (ICAM) Program. This program involves numerous inter-related projects and its initial focus is on significant improvements in aerospace sheet metal fabrication through the sheet metal wedge. The structure of the ICAM effort is discussed with emphasis on the management and critique of the program.
