Abstract
The purpose of this review is to assess the current status of therapy for TTP. The various forms of therapy employed in the past and present, the rationale for their use, and over-all results reported will be reviewed. Finally, the development of a standard reporting methodology to assess the significance of prognostic factors, initial therapy, and secondary therapy will be discussed.
